Spent my time in the classroom
Years behind a desk
Reading books and writing papers
Just to pass a test

Preparing for the future
In a world I had to impress    
I send in applications
But they don't get no interest

I could join the army go to war 
But turpitude is something I abhor   
Or stay at home without a job to do
But school never taught me how to beg for food
