I want to clear up a few misconceptions
For those that want to rep God but wonder what you stepping in
I'm talking about Jesus before I begin
So you heard bout the do's and don'ts of sin
Then you see church folk with a devilish grin
You looking for a start but all you see is the end
You tired of being lost and you really want to win
You looking for that yang cause you tired of that yin
Throwing up hands cause you giving up hope
Riding down the block all you see if dope
Hands in your pockets pulling out broke
Walked in the room leaving out chocked
You figure that getting high will be your scape goat
But you can't wash your problems off with octagon soap
Forgiveness is given through the blood of the lamb
And you don't have to worry about not eating ham 
See people worry about if the bible aint real
And talk about all pastors do is steal
Preacher take money
And then act funny
Having you hopping like a bunny
When you really need something
And you can get it on tv why waste time coming
And you can get it from the lake why waste time plumbing

When you read a book of literature 
You tend to get a mixture
Of different writers pictures
What you got to understand before you get bitter
That these are biographies
No audibly
Written by other men, do you follow me
So don't consider it oddity
That it's gossipy
Told on more than one occasion possibly
But focus on the principals not the chronology
What seems like a contradiction is a point of view
Thousands of accounts but chosen was a few
Some of them may have even gotten skewed
But this is no reason to carry on a feud
History is full of accounts that's not true
But that don't stop you from reading them in school
In fact you send your kids there to learn about fools
But you won't go to church so you can learn about a jewel
You really don't believe in virgin gestation
Yet you believe in artificial insemination
In a doctor's offices we can spawn creation
All we need is a willing mother and an ovulation
It doesn't take much computation
To understand that on of acclimation
Can do such things greater than imaginations
Exploration of this fact should cause fascination
I hope you can understand this simple illustration

The problem is that you don't believe God is physical
And that because the human race has gotten so cynical
You want to believe that God is just spiritual
If you stick to that concept than He's invisible
Now this is equivocal but it's kind of typical of what I see
Not being critical statistical 
And this is quite political
But Adam said he heard God walking
And Abraham saw him talking 
Now why are yall squawking 
And angles came to prophets
Not just in the bible 
In other religions and other disciples
The principals are honor thy god
Love they neighbor work unto the Lord
Keep peace on your mind and love in your heart
There are many more principal but that's just a start
When it comes to the bible James didn't write it
There were multiple authors most never cited
Old Testament was written in Hebrew
New Testament was written in Greek
White man didn't write it just to control us 
But they used it in slavery to justify and hold us
There are many misconceptions
When it comes to the bible
But that is no reason to make another you idol
