In George Orwell's dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four (published in 1949), Newspeak is the fictional language of Oceania, a totalitarian superstate. To meet the ideological requirements of Ingsoc (English Socialism) in Oceania, the Party created Newspeak, which is a controlled language of simplified grammar and restricted vocabulary designed to limit the individual person's ability to think critically or to articulate subversive concepts, such as personal identity, self-expression, and free will. Born from an orphan's pain
I packed every word, unsaid
I am lost in our final hug and time stopped in a bug

Born from the sun's demise
I saw you rising to the sky
And I can't forget
Your last moment on this Earth

Memories can't be killed
My pieces hold by glue, And if I lost
This balance
My soul would be broken
And its pieces would burn
Across the sunbeam

Lost in a crowd, I'm breaking up
There's too much mumbling in the air, I want stillness
Can you hold me? I can't see my way anymore

Why is everything full of pain?
My mind is exploding
And I won't move
It's hurtful, my bones are crumbling

Memories can't be killed
My pieces hold by glue, And if I lost
This balance
My soul would be broken
And its pieces would burn
Across the sunbeam
