Im tired need some r&r
Exhausted they ask if we're going far
Carbon oxidizes alone inside a car 
Been here before but I'm different  than before

The city got me sick
With its ubiquitous filth
It's insidious will
But the vigilant will
Prevail through ills of the prevalent pills
Then there's some who'll weep still when milk has been spilled
They morn for the milk like it was alive when it spilled
Attached to the milk
It's a patch on their quilt
Dairy dare he say filled
Adapted patterns instilled
From brains changed with pills and then re-patterned and billed
Little did they know the effect of their routine
Actions speak louder than verbs with little meaning 
Call me little meanie but I mean well it seems
As your hopes and your dreams fall apart at the seams
Change your day to day 
Pick the games you play 
Participate and fade away
With birthday cakes 
And save the dates
Or sit back eliminate
The pain you face on daily basis 
Face the facts and change your brain but wave goodbye to familiar faces 

Look it's patterns all around us
The math is all accounted  looking down into a forest 
The more it's historic the more boujee and gorgeous
But new life affords us new courses 
And forces divorces from the orders of ancient endorsements
Coded in Morse's and powered by horses
Separate and sorted desperate contorted 
In an inactive assortment of venerable boredom
Little did they know the effect of what they do
Actions speak louder than verbs with little use
Say goodbye The tried and true 
This the time for old to die so bring in the new 
In this timeline for a reason
The cycles of seasons 
Are you seeing what I'm seeing
The patterns they don't matter
It only matters that we see them
We can change what we want
It's our life until we leave it
