Half asleep you stumble to the morning shower shock

One eye on the bus time table, one eye on your watch
You get your coat on running down the stairs
Down the street, around the corner - just in time to catch - a glimpse of bus 11 from the rear 
Have to take the Tube instead, so down the stairs - make haste
Smiling posters are shouting about toothpaste - but:

You have no time to smile yourself. The clock, the watch, the minutes - oh dem bells...
