Monterey ( ; Spanish: Monterrey) is a city located in Monterey County on the southern edge of Monterey Bay on the U.S. state of California's Central Coast. Founded on June 3, 1770, it functioned as the capital of Alta California under both Spain (1804–1821) and Mexico (1822–1846). During this period, Monterey hosted California's first theater, public building, public library, publicly funded school, printing-press, and newspaper. It was originally the only port of entry for all taxable goods in California. In 1846, during the Mexican–American War of 1846–1848, the United States Flag was raised over the Customs House. I was searching for a sign when I saw you
I couldn't resist
See, I was standing in the eye of a typhoon
Your chaotic bliss

I wish I could explain how I feel
But lately I'm tongue-tied
My words don't come out right
And even though the time ain't ideal

I'ma stick right by your side
If you stick here right by mine
Oh baby, I can't fake it anymore
I want your love, I want your body, soul and more

I need your touch, I need to hear you say that you need it
When it's you, girl, there's no competing
Magnolia, can I get to know ya
When I look into your eyes

I see your soul
So vibrant and pure
You make me feel like I'm ascending to heaven, baby, yeah
Oh, you're an angel, I'm sure

I wish I could explain how I feel
But lately I'm tongue-tied
My words don't come out right
And even though the time ain't ideal

I'ma stick right by your side
If you stick here right by mine
Oh baby, I can't fake it anymore
I want your love, I want your body, soul and more

I need your touch, I need to hear you say that you need it
When it's you, girl, there's no competing
Magnolia, can I get to know ya

No, I don't want no other love
Baby, you the baddest in the game, I wanna show you off
Take you to some places that you ain't never been before
I just wanna give you everything you want and plenty more
Swear I'll provide that

And if I touch up on your body, would you like that
Cause I'm addicted to the feeling, know you're so bad
Tell me, girl, cause I wanna please you
Take the next step, love, I'll never mistreat you

Oh baby, I can't fake it anymore
I want your love, I want your body, soul and more
I need your touch, I need to hear you say that you need it
When it's you, girl, there's no competing

Magnolia, can I get to know ya
Oh baby, I can't fake it anymore
I want your love, I want your body, soul and more
I need your touch, I need to hear you say that you need it

When it's you, girl, there's no competing
Magnolia, can I get to know ya
