Grew up going to church but most sermons seemed boring
I believed in the Bible and that Jesus died for me
I just wasn't ready to give my whole life for His glory
On the surface seemed Godly, in my heart I wasn't
Claimed to be a Christian but really, I was bluffin
The past is behind me though, I know who I'm becoming
Faced the man in the mirror, I finally stopped runnin
Cuz I don't wanna be lukewarm and vomited out
I let the seeds planted in me finally sprout
Now my life is a garden the proof's in all of the fruit

The devil keeps coming though and we fall to our flesh
Might feel bad for a bit then do it over again
But if you truly love Christ, you'll obey what He says
That doesn't mean perfection, that title is His
Everyday's a new gift that comes straight from above
