To step into freedom to find my own space

But deep in my heart a fire still burns
A glimmer of hope a fragile soul that learns
To break through these barriers to find my own way
And reclaim my life no longer thrown away

Yet, I'm left alone a silent captive soul
My spirit crushed my heart paying the toll

In the depths of despair I search for a glimmer
A flicker of hope a reason to shimmer
But the walls of my cage they close in so tight
Suffocating dreams extinguishing light

So let me be patient let me find my voice
In this cage I'll discover the power of choice
For life's truest freedom lies not in our walls
But in how we rise when all else tells us to fall
