All my life, I
Dreamt of being free
All my life, I
Been looking for me
To love

Real niggas ain't perfect
It's your world, nigga, stay searching
F*ck chasing after these hoes, my young nigga, chase your purpose
Stack your money, meet your goals, my young nigga, gotta stay working
F*ck chasing after these hoes, my young nigga, chase your purpose

Today, I got the news we got Julius Jones off Death Row
Yesterday, I gave it up to God and let go
I give you a reason for believing, I can whip a mustard seed into freedom like a Pyrex cook dope
Standing at the stove, ah
Yesterday my nigga, Kram, passed away, it's likely it was of an overdose
If he ain't make it up to Heaven yet, I know he close
I picked my pen out of my pain and then I wrote
About hope, how it burns like a candle in the night
Shining light when you're feeling like you'll never win the fight
And the devil got the dice
And he looking at you yelling "Jackpot, Jackpot" tryna gamble with your life
Know your worth, my nigga, can't forget your price
Who could imagine? Julius happened to find me online
All off a letter he signed, "Theme Music by Vic Mensa"
And then I did 'Shelter'
And nine months later he wasn't killed
I say, "Free 'em all", I don't see Heaven, Hell
I only put faith in God, I know my blessings are real
I recognize Satan's fraud, I don't believe man was born flawed
I don't believe in good or bad or right or wrong
But I do believe in me
All praises due to Allah

All my life, I
Dreamt of being free
All my life, I
Been looking for me
To love
