My first times peeling in the 2Ks may be close to my last too, heh
I guess I'll never get it and I'm fine with that
But I'd take any excuse to go back to where we went
Snow-covered condos at the harbor
Two nights after "Candy" dropped
These last two weeks in the city didn't wanna feel too attached to any one thing
I even started avoiding too much eye contact with those I trust most
Been too numb to feel some of the nostalgia that I hoped for
But trying to not just tick shit off my list when I see you

Subconscious waiting to leave as if I was only there to say goodbyes
Actually got worse at that this summer

2Ks still have some of my people, hold the fort while I'm gone
What if I'm too ambitious for some of those around me
But I still love them though
