I've been in this cold cold world trying to find me somewhere warm stay, but all these demons on me got me running from the fire they come from the head and blaze, we come from those battle scars, and they think they did us wrong from those battle scars, mama said keep your head up boy you're a soldier

Take a look at my battle scars, I got them from literally living in the streets, You see cause times got hard, But not too hard to get on my feet, I seen the bottom of that bottomless pit, Dealing with my problems, Now I  promise here that I will not quit, That's word to my momma, Imma soldier in this battle field, My soul is my main weapon, So you know that this is real, That's why I'm never stressing the trials and tribulations I be facing on the daily, Hoping to make it to do better for my family, Understand that this is not a game, You don't get an extra life, So I plan to keep on pushing until I make this one right. As a survivor who was walking through the fire I found focus to fight for my desires even if they sound bogus, So I'm hoping, One day they will truly understand, All these battle scars I carry only made me a better man and I plan have a purpose for certain, So I keep working though hurt and pain, Knowing one day i will make a gain soon cause
