Life's hard, and I know you've probably heard this a million times
But those hardships are what make you stronger
You are going to make it through this
If you need any help, ask God
There's something to be learned from every mistake
Every trial, or trouble, or trauma coming your way
Can be seen as a blessing, it just depends on your attitude
Think about it, maybe you should give your problems some gratitude
I know it's hard, yeah, it's hard for me too
When you're going through it, it can be hard to see through
The pain, to view what's on the other side of the hurt
But when you get there, then you'll see just what the struggle was worth

In the pain and strife that this world supplied

That if your hands were untied from those heavy burdens
You would take a leap of faith and set aside the lies

Let me tell you how I've seen this happen in my own life
I was farther from God than I had ever been
Had my head below water, I was drowning in sin
But God grabbed my hand and he set me free
From the heavy weight of sin that was crushing me
To be honest, the thing that weighed me down the most was my ex
But I don't hate her no more, nah, I wish her the best
'Cause even though it hurt to see her say goodbye
After all the pain, I finally realized
That God knew I needed her removed from my life
So I could focus on him and step into the light
And now I'm closer to God than I have ever been
And I know he'll help me through all the rain and wind
So if you're going through a storm, I want to tell you that you
