I walked along that rocky cove
The sky was grey and the water was cold
Shook my head from what was said
Don't care much for what he meant

I knelt down, to choose a rock
Not too rigid, not too sharp
Rubbed my thumb across and thought
Why can't I get, why can't I just... get along

Well I don't know much

As the seagulls, argued with the crows
Stared into dissolving foam
Shook my head
Why can't I take a joke?
