I look back, I see the world for its history track
It's kinda sad, makes me thankful for my life, I know that
Too many wars, people poor, hungry kids in the world
Things have happened in the world that shouldn't have happened before
Like genocide, terrorism, all the forms of racism
Through this song, the problems of the world take form in a rhythm
To think that people think that other people shouldn't be equal
Because their racial features displease them without any reason
Except a clouded belief passed down the family tree
Where they think they're elite, and oppression is key
So they increase the number of police to break the spirit of each
And everyone they don't see in their model society
But keep in mind they feel entitled on this land that they borrowed
Raised to think that hate is vital: indoctrinating their child
It's like a cycle: keeps recycling the same old recital
Prejudicial full dismissal, yet they're claiming the bible

But what if god was one of us?
He'd probably admire every child in the world no matter gender or color
And if he saw what's become of us?
Do you think he'd be proud?
When everything revolves around how to keep each other down

Deprivation is causation for the world's devastation
And aspirations are the stimulation for one's salvation
Discrimination is frustration with no sound explanation
So let the hatred toleration die with past generations
Children's hearts are pure: trust me, that I assure
Everything they're taught that's negative is taught premature
It's your words they absorb: that fact you can't just ignore
So shut it down at the core, so we can start moving forward
Because people need to understand and really open their eyes
Change is something that's important that we all need to try
So get that hatred out of your heart before it tears you apart
And recognize this form of art to be a true heart-to-heart
Because now is the time!
