8th grade a couple sports that I played but really I was tryna catch fades

Really should of been more focused on how to get paid

Eventually a few dollars that I made but it was nothing major
My dad had me washing cars and raking leaves all for the paper
Just enough to get by, if I could buy my own Filas

Years later at school plastic bag on the forces
All whites, like the ones that carry tiki torches
Too much shit to recall, folks thought we had it all
Only there when a nigga up but never when a nigga fall

That family pride we had to swallow
All my folks had went to school I didn't follow

Miss my dawg funeral I had to leave the same day
