Madeline is a media franchise that originated as a series of children's books written and illustrated by Ludwig Bemelmans, an Austrian-American author. The books have been adapted into numerous formats, spawning telefilms, television series and a live action feature film. As a closing line, the adaptations invoke a famous phrase Ethel Barrymore used to rebuff curtain calls, "That's all there is, there isn't any more." The stories take place in a Catholic boarding school in Paris. The teacher, a nun named Miss Clavel, is strict but loves the children, cares for them, and is open to their ideas. Not good at happiness, I'm good at relief
Even when I'm honest, there's a lack of belief
Smiling to myself, I've been grinding my teeth
All the stuff that I notice
It's all the same to me

Like how I recognize
Every mornings met by
Some subliminal sign from a feeling that I'll deny

I can give it a try
It's out of sight and on my mind
I can fake a good time
It's out of sight and on my mind
I guess I'm only good at relief
Cause I can get what I want but not what I need
Not a day goes by
It's out of sight and on my mind

A little bit of love can go a long way
But a little bit of hate can make three years one long day

I try to deny it, the panic I liken
So I stand with the sirens and frame it as silence
Though its masquerade, a painting of a face
That looks like me but isn't so ashamed

I can give it a try
It's out of sight and on my mind
I can fake a good time
It's out of sight and on my mind
I guess I'm only good at relief
Cause I can get what I want but not what I need
Not a day goes by
It's out of sight and on my mind
Not a day goes by

People play along and they get what they need
It's just something I noticed
It's all the same to me

Not good at happiness, I'm good at relief
Even when I'm honest, there's a lack of belief
