Trynna make it happen
Maa I promise I'll get it home
We gon get the wealth and have the health
No ones going broke
I'm always working day and night
With my heart and soul
Imma bring it home
Someday I'll make it
With these songs

I didn't see this coming back when I was just 15
I was only making songs and rappin about my lit dreams
Back then I thought that I would make it by this time
I'm still where i was but I'll be there by the time I'm 25
When I was laying on the floor I didn't know
That money would become a problem like it's now
That my family would start having issues
Maa thinks that I don't love her and I misuse
My time and my days
While I'm trynna show her that I'm trynna pave a wave
That would get us all rich and happy someday
Until then I hope that I can fight this pain

Trynna make it happen
Maa I promise I'll get it home
We gon get the wealth and have the health
No ones going broke
I'm always working day and night
With my heart and soul
Imma bring it home
Someday I'll make it
With these songs

In the sea Of my potential
I'm drowning in my art
While I'm sailing through these waves
With some highs and lows alot
I remember as a kid I used to see the stars shine
I grew up and now I'm trynna reach the moon And make it mine
My reality and dreams are not alike
So I'm trynna stay focused on blowing up
And trynna be alright cuz I gotta take care of me to take care of the fam
Cuz the times keep getting crucial all the time
I'm trynna prove to my maa that I got it
I know what I'm doing is gonna pay the bills off it
I know that my college is important
But honestly I feel dead whenever I start thinking about it
Cuz its stressful
But if i quit I gotta take a handful
Of responsibilities and im ready I hope my maa thinks too
It can be blissful but also can be bittersweet
I'm trynna give my family the world and peace they need
I feel lonely all the time but I hide how I feel
Got some friends and a girl who keep things real
And I promise imma blow up and I'll never blow it
Ill always love y'all and I try my best to show it

Tell my momma that I got her
Tell my dad that I got us
Tell my brother that I love him
Tell my people that I got it

Trynna make it happen
Maa I promise I'll get it home
We gon get the wealth and have the health
No ones going broke
I'm always working day and night
With my heart and soul
Imma bring it home
Someday I'll make it
With these songs
