 Watch: New Singing Lesson Videos Can Make Anyone A Great Singer

Walking along my neighborhood road, it’s all quiet, and my neighbor is playing “Black” by Pearl Jam. Walking by, I get the instant sensation of all quiet, and than black infiltrates the mix. It was really foggy today, typical for La Selva, and I just think how blessed I am to be living in such a beautiful place.


I’ve called this place my home for many years and I’m super grateful to live here. I don’t know how I long I will but I’m still super stoked to have it be more than a year. The jungle is a magical place full of wondrous things that you can’t replace. For example, we have that fucking bluff, a bluff that looks like an ocean bluff, a place to go walking. Besides, this place is my family home, that’s right. My aunt lived here, my brother too, and my cousin, yeah, and a lot of cats, that’s cool. When I was like 13 I used to cut them vids, running around the neighborhood, recording clips, I got to know the place really well after that, yeah, that’s a lot of trips. La Selva Beach a place some peeps don’t know, say “south of Aptos” and that helps with the flow of what they know, it’s just a name south of St. Cross, yeah, that’s great. When I do my gigs locally I get to know the community, it’s a nice little space with religion and grace, but there’s also a lot of diversity of opinion, they’re not converting me. 


It’s my home, I live in the jungle, give me the jungle. It’s the home where my fam is, the jungle. 


In Larkin there was the pompous grass, and at Robak we have that too, although it’s not as annoying and huge. We live at number 88, which some peeps still miss, we laugh, that’s great. When I turned 14 I threw a party, with kids, and balloons, that was a trippy time, lost touch with most of
 them, that’s not a crime. In ‘14, we made that video, about low IQ in my room, we could have been huge. We decided f*ck this, it’s a no.  The jungle is a place with lots of elderly but also diversity, and that definitely comes in handy. I have made friends with some folk, got some neighbors to jam that Buffalo and Dolly, just going with the flow. Made friends with Peterson, what do you know?

Yeah, you know, I really enjoy living in La Selva. I sometimes question, should I live somewhere else? But the answer is, for now, this is the place to live. My family needs me, I need them, it’s our family house, having been passed down for generations, and it’s really gorgeous, living 2 minutes away from the beach is anyone’s blessing. I still wanna film the Sounds of Nature music video at the beach, Manresa is so gorgeous, and I grew up going there, even as a kid. Maybe at some point in my life…(trail off)
