Vetusta Morla

Vetusta Morla is a Spanish indie-rock band originally from the city of Tres Cantos located near Madrid, Spain. The band was formed in 1998 and took its name from the giant old tortoise Morla, a character in the children's book The Neverending Story by Michael Ende. "Vetusta" means "extremely old" or "decrepit" in Spanish. The history of Vetusta Morla began in the summer of 1998 at the José Luis Sampedro Secondary School in Tres Cantos, Madrid, where a few students decided to perform at the institute's culture week and founded a rock band. Uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh

A ver, ¿cómo baila Madrid?

Uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh
Hablan los que ya no están
Uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh
No han dejado de girar

Todo el mundo necesita un "sí"
Tres minutos de complicidad
Una receta que alivie su dolor
Con cuentos de verdad

Un abrigo en la mañana hostil
Alguien cerca a quien llamar "papá"

Uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh
(Hablan los que ya no están)
Uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh
(No han dejado de girar)

Uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh
(Cantan los que ya no están)
Uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh
(No han dejado de girar)

Uh, déjalo girar
La emulsión de un tesoro escaso

Uh, déjalo girar
Es Suzanne la que sigue al mando

Uh, déjalo girar
Nuestros discos siguen sonando

Uh-uh-uh-uh
Déjalos girar
