Eddie the Rat is the pseudonym for composer/ multi-instrumentalist, P.R.Martin and the musical group who execute his carefully constructed compositions. Martin's music has been called "sexy avant-garde" and "head music for your feet." Inspired by everything from Indonesian gamelan, American music styles (Jazz, Blues, rock), and modern orchestral music, Eddie the Rat bridges the way between ritual, roots, and concert music.
