Agony In The Garden

Agony In The Garden’s inception occurred on April of 2013 as a one man band with singer/songwriter multi-instrumentalist Mack Perry writing and recording all of Agony’s music. Releasing a debut four song EP, Where Olympus Dwells, in May, 2015. In Feb. 2016 Mack and Clint Lowery of Grammy Nominated Sevendust co-wrote 3 tracks. In September that same year the band released the single Obsolete, “a sonically hard-hitting metal rock tune that dazes the senses”. Agony’s music style fuses Rock, singer/songwriter and Blues incorporating poly-rhythmic guitar with “poetic song lyrics, that are compelling and socially relevant.” In a prior review Perry’s vocals were cited as “one of the best voices I’ve heard in years. Deep, rich with a bit of grit.” Within the first two years of AITG’s arrival on the music scene Mack and Agony received various sponsorships supporting and proving his musical prowess. In July of 2015 Mack appeared on the #1 webshow in the world, The Jimmy Star Show with Ron Russell, featuring the title track of Agony’s premier EP, Where Olympus Dwells. The track was also included on the soundtrack for the film “Precision.” “Let It Burn” from the same EP was repeatedly featured on CBS Sports as well as The Super Bowl Live in 2016. Agony signed with Spectra Music group in October of 2016, releasing “Falling In Reverse” with Spectra on March 10th, 2017. Perry and Agony continued to receive endorsements with the likes of CT Music Straps, Dean Markley Strings and WB Gear. In August of 2021 following a brief hiatus from the music business Agony signed with Soni Music Group (SMG). The first single “Carry You” from the latest installment from Agony’s, “Will Of Fire” debuted on September 30th, 2021 with the full album releasing in March of 2023 to stellar reviews. Washington Weekly Times: Mack Perry, the power and brains behind the one man faction Agony in the Garden has recently released his new single “Will of Fire,” an enchanting and haunting song of inspiration. “Will of Fire” is captivating and powerful. Nashville Music Guide: Agony’s song embraces creativity, each with a powerful message. “Will of Fire” is an edgy song, packed with power and angels. There is an eloquence in his enthusiasm…and his energy seems limitless. The beats are haunting, the orchestration is explosive…Agony gives you stardust. “Will of Fire” is intense, forged by the force of life itself. It’s a frenzied, fiery inspiring song that makes your heart beat loudly. Mack P

Where Olympus dwells
Made of blood and bone
When the walls come crushing in
To cover you in stone
Where Olympus dwells
Daylight never dies
So remember well
Etched in blood and bone
Somewhere in-between
You find your way home
Where Olympus dwells
Daylight never dies

Where the world dwells on small details
Just to find our graves in the snow
You ask the measure of my mind
To this you already know
Stand your ground
Don’t back down
This grave you dug so shallow
Curse the hell where you dwell

There’ll be times in your life
Where you can only feel pain
Always darkness in light
Some things will never change
You can’t kill what won’t bleed
Let them do what they will
When the walls come crashing down
Find a new place to dwell

Where Olympus dwells
Made of blood and bone
When the walls come crushing in
To cover you in stone
Where Olympus dwells
Daylight never dies
So remember well
Etched in blood and bone
Somewhere in-between
You find your way home
Where Olympus dwells
Daylight never dies

How many days have you felt this way
Heard the breaking of your heart
You asked someone to stand by your side
They watched you fall apart
Stand your ground don’t back down
This grave you dug so shallow
Curse the hell where you dwell

There’ll be times in your life
Where you can only feel pain
Always darkness in light
Some things will never change
You can’t kill what won’t bleed
Let them do what they will
When the walls come crashing down
Find a new place to dwell

Where Olympus dwells
Made of blood and bone
When the walls come crushing in
To cover you in stone
Where Olympus dwells
Daylight never dies
So remember well
Etched in blood and bone
Somewhere in-between
You find your way home
Where Olympus dwells
Daylight never dies
