BLEEDING HEARTS SYNDICATE starts as a project in 2007 in the Liège area (Belgium), with the writing of singer and guitar player David Lefrançois’s introspective, not-dedicated-to-live-performance album. In 2008, the drummer Olivier Rahir comes up with the idea of getting a band together... Sebastien Mentior (bass) and Roberto Cimino (guitars) join them. The line-up is complete. On summer 2009, they release their first 5-track EP. In 2010, BLEEDING HEARTS SYNDICATE are still locked on target : playing as many concerts as possible and keep in permanent touch with the audience. In the same year, the boys are back in the studio and record punkish track ‘Lost in Amsterdam’ and Depeche Mode cover ‘Shake the disease’. In 2011, the bands prepares their first album and shoot the ‘Fools and demi-gods’ video clip. 14-track ‘Play for bastards’ album is finally released in December 2012.
