Singer/Songwriter Shamala Tamrazova and Director/Songwriter Charley Stadler founded the band project VON SEEFELD. Shamala attended the Glier Music Institute and Tchaikovsky Music Academy in Kiev where she graduated as a grand pianist. Shamala was a Laureate of international competitions and performed some of the most challenging composers like Rachmaninov and Prokofiev before leaving the classical stage for pop. As the songwriter and keyboard player for the band Sister Siren, Shamala won 2 MTV AWARDS and played at the EMA’s. In 2013, she decided to embark on a solo career and met Director Charley Stadler. A few months later war broke out in Ukraine which shaped and influenced their style of writing beyond the mainstream. At the time, Charley had just written two albums, Portraits and Soulmate Sublime, for the electronic pop act The Maneken. Charley is responsible for VON SEEFELD S visual performance. Also in 2016, two time Grammy winner and producer of Muse, Foofighters and Nothing but Thieves, Adrian Bushby, joined the band project. Adrian creates the highly energetic, electronic poprock sound.
