A Vivar é uma banda de hardcore de Florianópolis/SC com referências nas diferentes fases do gênero, desde seu início nos anos 1980, seu desenvolvimento nos anos 1990 e popularização nos 2000 (Bad Brains, Dag Nasty, Face to Face, Garage Fuzz, entre outras). A banda vem compondo suas músicas desde 2016, mas seus integrantes já sobem aos palcos com projetos diferentes há mais ou menos 10 anos. Projetos estes sempre relacionados com a cena de bandas e eventos independentes, valorizando a ideia do “faça você mesmo”. A banda apresentou seu primeiro EP homônimo com 4 músicas autorais, lançado na internet em 24/09/17 e em mídia de CD com tiragem de 60 exemplares já esgotados e selo independente.
