Sunny Spade is a New York based singer and songwriter. She began singing before she even began speaking. Since then, she has hit the ground running with her career. Writing her first songs at just eleven years old, Spade has been pursuing music for most of her life. Her foremost musical influence is her late grandmother, Maya Israni, a professional classical singer who performed all over India and Asia. Her musical inspirations are No Doubt, Fall Out Boy, Evanescence, Pat Benatar, Taylor Swift, NeYo, Adele, Celine Dion, and Max Martin. Spade’s diverse musical background continues to influence her sound. Her experiences have driven her genre into the realm of Alternative Dark Pop. With the help of Grammy-winning producer, Troy “R8DIO” Johnson, and co-writer Marissa Harper, Spade’s upcoming debut album blends bass, piano, electric guitars, and haunting melodies. Lyrically, Spade tells a story of heartbreak and murder, each song on her album representing a singular emotion that is equivalent to one chapter. Her first single, “Houdini,” is now available on all major streaming platforms.
