Mike Giordi began his musical career in the early 80s, singing and playing guitar in local bands and experimenting with various styles of music. Strongly influenced by the great artists and popular music of the early- and mid 80s, and 90s, Mike Giordi started to developed great interest in many different musical genres. Covering many of the prominent musical styles as a singer and guitar player in numerous cover bands and thus dealing with many of the songs that hit the charts back then, many of those tunes and sounds contributed to the fundament on which his own musical styles have developed through the years. While being on the road for a long time, with professional bands like The Disque, Funk Me Tender, Powerpuff, La Strada, and many others, a injury to his left hand made it almost impossible to play the guitar any longer and forced him to pause for quite some time. Using that involuntarily "timeout-period" in a positive way, like "relearning" to play the guitar, he also went to composing and writing songs.
