Singer, was born in São Paulo – Brazil , and has a degree in Education from FMU (Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas), where she specialized in Education for the Hearing Impaired. She completed the “VII International Course in the Kodály Method” at the University of Sao Paulo School of Communication and Arts. She started her voice studies with Claudia Mocchi and attended the summer musical specialization course at – Universitad im Donauknie, Danube Bend, Hungary, and to this day receives great encouragement from SKB – the Kodály Society in Brazil – a branch of the International Kodály Society, Hungary. Ms. Domingues currently attends the scholl of music Johannes Brahms-Germany/Hamburg. Participated in the CD: Das Ensemble Von Disneys Der König Der Löwen (The Walt Disney Lion King Ensemble Singers): Gemeinsam Für Africa (Together for Africa). Performed as the main Sarabi in the Walt Disney Company production of the Lion King - (Der König der Löwen) in Hamburg, Germany. In 2008 Ms. Domingues released her own CD of solo baroque pieces entitled One Voice One Piano Only One Heart, by Marcia Domingues & Helenice Audi. According to the December, 2008 issue of Música Erudita Magazine: "This was her first recording as a solo artist and includes songs by numerous Baroque composers such as Giordani (Caro mio ben); Caccini (Tu ch'hai le penne, amore); Antonio Scarlatti (Se Florindo è fedele, Son tutta duolo etc.); Pergolesi (Se tu m'ami, se sospire) and Händel (Ah! Mio cor). This recording shows off her gifted voice ...In 2011 soprano launched his new CD where he interprets Brazilian Folkloric Music and Imperial Modinhas. The Brazilian popular songbook is an immense treasure that has yet to be fully discovered and consolidated as a reference for our interpreters. Rescuing some precious stones from this treasure from a discreet erudite garb is the work that soprano Marcia Domingues does on the album Brasil em Cores.
