Enthralling hard rock- to blues band, interesting rhythms, tightly knit, jubilant, powerful, male and female vocal leads and kick-ass guitar. Kindred toured stateside and abroad, opening for Three Dog Night. They released two vinyl LPs in the early 70s – “Kindred” and “Next of Kin” – produced by Chuck Negron, one of the original Three Dog Night, under the Warner Bros Record label. Personnel: David Bluefield keyboard/songwriter, Marty Rodgers vocals/songwriter, Gloria Gaioni vocals and standout dancer of Shindig fame, Bernie Mysior bass, Bobby Cochran, nephew of great rocker Eddie Cochran, guitar (Bobby replaced Sandy Szigeti (RIP)), Ron Grinel drums, later replaced by Jimi Ericsson.
