Bio Known as "South Florida's Most Unique Lyricist," and living up to the title, the artist known as "KiLLA YAK" is almost impossible to box into one single genre of hip-hop. With over 20 years experience releasing music, completely on his own, KiLLA YAK has been consistent with content, all while funding all of his content and releases entirely on his own, and remaining one hundred percent self made. Co-owner of the independent record label "DeaD N DecayeD Records" as well as the labels premier artist, member of it's graphics department team, and promotional departments, YAKs body of work, commitment and contributions to underground hip-hop can not be overstated. Often referring to his style as "Acid Rap," an underground style originated by Detroit's Esham Smith in the late 80's, KiLLA YAK has forged a style and sound that is something else entirely from anything before him, or since. From his beginnings in groups like "Homicide" and "Stray Tribe," to his solo work and innumerable feature appearances, YAK has proven time and again, that everybody is something, but KiLLA YAK is just something else. His career discography spans over two decades, and Twenty-four releases, including mixtapes, EPs and LPs. HTFO
