Jua Cali is the King of Genge and the most famous artist to ever emerge from Kenya. Romantico & Samaki Mkuu are a duo made in Kenya, taking a new genre of music to the world. That new genre of music is Gengeton, that merges the beats of reggaeton from Latin America with those of Genge from Kenya and delivers lyrics that mix Spanish, Swahili and English. Their music pervades a “work hard, play hard” ethic, causing you to want to let your hair down, dance, and have a good time.
