Jennifer Jordan is an American singer/songwriter from Houston, TX who lives in Paris and is a member of SACEM. This Texan always had a sense of adventure and over the years, Jennifer has associated it with her passion for music. She began her musical career in her hometown of Houston singing in the choir. A few years later, she meets her biological father, Jim, by total chance. A few months after this meeting, she finds herself singing choruses in the group Feo Y Loco, of which Jim is the bassist... before embarking on a new adventure across the Atlantic. Jennifer's musical career takes a more international twist when she leaves college to settle in Paris where she replaces the singer of the jazz-pop group The Speak Easy, which performs at the famous club Blue Note in Montmartre, among others. In 1994, she changes her musical direction and recorded the Dance title "Take It Easy" under the nick name Cherry Moon, published by MCA Records France and released in France, Canada and Spain. Her second single, "Everybody Get Down" (Joker Music France), becomes a hit on the air and a favorite of dance floors and even charts, and is released in France, Germany, and the Netherlands. In 1996, she releases her Dream music single, "Flying Over The Sun." But Dance music does not fulfill Jennifer and she wants to make a music that feels more like her. As soon as she met the musician, Viché de Vince, they began working together to form Mary Modified, an alternative pop-rock band. They compose an album, of which four pieces will be produced by Jean-Patrick Capdevielle. One of the songs, "It Could Have Been Me," is used as the soundtrack for the La Ligne Noire miniseries, broadcasted on M6. In 2007, Jennifer also records the demo "Mal de Chien" with Jean-Patrick which appears on his album, Hérétique. Mary Modified has since split, but the members of the group have remained friends and continue to collaborate on various projects. Jennifer also works extensively in the studio recording demos and jingles for TV, cinema and commercials for large groups like Bouygues Bâtiment International and Dior. She also composes songs and lyrics for other artists. Jennifer is currently working on a solo project of pop music and continues to enrich her repertoire of soundtracks for TV and cinema. She still lives in Paris.
