A President born Donte Lewis is taking office as the Baltimore native's multi-genre music catalog grows by the hour since the release of his first single. With his independent Record label TTE, and connections to Baltimore's urban music community, Trendin's seat in Presidential office is solidified. Trendin's career started to take shape a few years ago when he hooked up with Baltimore club legend, Dj Rod Lee, producer and founder of Club Kings, and Harmsquad Ent. "I learned so much from the bro," Trendin says of Rod, producer of chart and street respected acts such as Tim Trees, Paula Campbell, king Los and Tate Kobangz. "He is big in brand recognition . I picked that up. You can't sell a business without a brand." Long venue nights to long studio nights would help to strengthen Trendin's skills and within a year, independence was celebrated. Trendin started to earn a living in the music business by writing for local DMV artist. "I started helping Rod on various projects. Clubkings money was good. I studied the artist from Carmen Cameron and Skola to Caddy da don and Test, it blew my mind ," Trendin described.
