The Waves was a group from the mid 70s that lasted a short time and became the brand name for all songs written by John Basos during and after that time.
John Basos wrote lyrics and music for all the The Waves' songs and does backing vocals on many tracks.
The songs are primarily produced/mixed and sung by Nick Martellaro playing his instruments. BZ Lewis of Studio 132 in Oakland, California also produces many of John's songs.
