The song was made available by digital download on May 6, 2016 via pre-order of the album and was later serviced to contemporary hit and rhythmic radio on June 28, 2016 as the album's second single. "Into You" is an EDM and house song and features "a thudding disco beat, lurking synths and sharp bass drum beats" in its instrumentation. The song peaked at number 13 on the US Billboard Hot 100, number 14 on the UK Singles Chart, number 11 on the Australian ARIA Charts and number 9 on the New Zealand Singles Chart. Its music video was directed by Hannah Lux Davis and released on May 24, 2016, spawning four nominations at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards. Grande has promoted the song with televised performances at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, the season 10 finale of The Voice, and the 2016 Summertime Ball.
