Storm is brewing Here comes the rain Downpour torrential Flooding my brain Thunder is rumbling Feeling the pain Lightning is striking Going insane Air getting thick Struggling and choking Down on my knees Beaten and broken Manifestation Of all that I am fearing But here comes a sunbeam Out through a clearing And the sun comes out again Lay here forever I am hooked on the sunshine Cannot feel my fingers I think that is a good sign Brightness glows in Through my eyelids I feel fine Nothing but sunbeams Means nothing but good times Nighttime has fallen Late and I am restless Toss and I turn I am in distress Mood always sets with the sun I am depressed Will I get sleep?
