Miyavi

Takamasa Ishihara (石原 貴雅, Ishihara Takamasa?, born September 14, 1981) better known by his stage name Miyavi (雅-MIYAVI-?, previously written as 雅-miyavi-), is a Japanese singer-songwriter, guitarist and record producer, known for his distinctive guitar playing style. He has been active since 1999, first as the guitarist for the now defunt visual kei rock band Dué le Quartz, but toned down his on-stage attire later in his solo career which started in 2004. In 2007 formed the Japanese rock supergroup S.K.I.N., in 2009 founded his own company J-Glam inc., and several times toured solo worldwide. more »
