Is this the final darkness 
of the demise no more no less
Dead in the water cold 
not exactly striking gold
the rope is tied cursed manyfold
a hostage to a fortune cold


At the end of the rope
A sore heart that can not cope
With its bitter fate
Lost in darkness and in shade
The wretched reality
Soulless lost and can not see
A way out and can barely hope
At the end of the rope
