Stay Down!

by Aloys A. Raven

Lights went off and ahead
I can feel ourselves approaching all’s end

But seeking doors to escape
I still don’t know what is in take to force out

How should I know if there’ll be someone who’ll help me and lead
Out this confused state

It seems I trapped myself
If that’s what it could be, the next morning’ll be on the pound

Stay down ? you know this is a countdown
You don’t know when we’re going to fall down
Forget this boat that breaks all over bones
Escape now so you may never hear them growl !

(BREAK IT !) Breakdown, you know now is a fair time
To run away, your past life’s behind
If there’s no escape that we can find
We’ll need to kill ourselves before we die !

Are we close to tame the storm in our lives
And just ride it safe, keep it to sleep ? (don’t throw them away)

And shouting out to this world what it could be
All we just dreamed to, just dreamed to be ? (please show them the way )

But what If all it needs is gone
In their destructive breakdown ?

Are we close to tame the storm in our lives
And just ride it safe, keep it to sleep ? (don’t throw them away)

And shouting out to this world what it could be
All we just dreamed to, just dreamed to be ? (please show them the way )

If what it needs is far away
If what it needs agrees to wait
Even if what I praise is dead
I will not give up my days

Stay down ? do you know what is « dead » ?
How would you feel one bullet in your head ?
If you scream some pain again,
What will you see then inside the stain ?

Stay down ? what will you find at gate ?
Release the sadness, don’t release the hate
I can see tears flowing on your face
Tell who you’ll see that we’ll fight to the end

Stay down ? you know this is a countdown
You don’t know when we’re going to fall down
Forget this boat that breaks all over bones
Escape now so you may never hear them growl !

(BREAK IT !) Breakdown, you know now is a fair time
To run away, your past life’s behind
If there’s no escape that we can find
We’ll need to kill ourselves before we die
