Sometime

by Ritt Momney

Jack William Rutter (born October 12, 1999), better known as Ritt Momney, is an American singer-songwriter from Salt Lake City, Utah. His stage name is a spoonerism of American politician Mitt Romney, who was the Republican nominee during the 2012 United States presidential election and is currently a United States Senator representing Rutter’s home state of Utah since 2019.

I tell myself
I mean my mind, I mean my body well
I know sometimes it might be hard to tell
But there's a light inside of me
And it shines like a sound
And I can play it like a beat
I can flip up a frown
And make your body move your feet
I got mine on the ground
And hands to catch me when they leave it
Sometimes I block the light out
Sometimes I wanna be it

Take some time
It's probably gonna take some time
I'm probably gonna take some time for me
It's probably gonna take some time
It's probably gonna take some time

Wrapped in a brand like it's a body bag
Block out the sound, I like the sound of that, yeah
You can hold the applause, go get your money back
Take a step out my mind and there's a world outside of me
Lift the lids off my eyes
And lift the lips off of my teeth
No more wasting my time
I'm gonna take some time for me

Take some time
It's probably gonna take some time
It's probably gonna, uh

(By the way you're falling)
(Far away some time)
(By the way you're falling)
(Far away some time)
(By the way you're falling)
(Far away some time)
(By the way you're falling)
(Far away some time)

It's probably gonna
It's probably gonna take some time
It's probably gonna take some time
It's probably gonna take some time
It's probably gonna take some time
It's probably gonna take some time
