I never knew it could feel this way
I never thougt you would walk away
When it was over you you called late nights
And you said "Do you miss me?"

Second thought haunting you at night baby
Do you regret that you let it go?
If you doubt what did was right
You should know

(Chorus)
That I lied
When I said I'm over and done with you
I lied
When I said it didn't hurt
I lied

I've got a piece of you in my soul
I really tried, I was left in cold
I didn't know it could be this strong
Now I can't let it go

(Chorus)
And I lied
When I said I'm over and done with you
I lied
When I said it didn't hurt
I lied

I lost my course
And my life's too short to deny
How much you mean to me
I'll leave my pride,
Yeah I'll let it slide
And I'll let you know

(Chorus)
That I lied
When I said I'm over and done with you
I lied
When I said it didn't hurt
I lied

I lied
