"Feels Just Like It Should" is the first single from British funk/acid jazz band Jamiroquai's sixth studio album, Dynamite. The song was produced by Mike Spencer and Jay Kay. The track was built on a bass line created by Kay as a human beatbox. This bassline originally formed part of an interlude that was intended to feature on the band's 2001 album, A Funk Odyssey, but it was dropped for the final version of the album, only appearing on the test pressing. The song was their fourth #1 on the U. S. Dance Chart and peaked at #8 on the UK Singles Chart. It was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Short Form Music Video at the 48th Grammy Awards. more »

Jamiroquai

Jamiroquai i/dʒəˈmɪrəkwaɪ/ are a British jazz funk and acid jazz band formed in 1992. Fronted by lead singer Jay Kay, Jamiroquai were initially the most prominent component in the early-1990s London-based acid jazz movement, alongside groups such as Incognito, the James Taylor Quartet, and the Brand New Heavies. Subsequent albums have explored other musical directions such as pop, rock and electronica. Their best known track is "Virtual Insanity", which won four awards at the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards.
