It contains the vocals of Noel Gallagher of Oasis, who also co-wrote the song and previously worked with The Chemical Brothers on "Setting Sun". Both the track's B-sides sample tracks from Surrender: "The Diamond Sky" samples the track "Surrender", and "Studio K" samples "The Sunshine Underground". "Let Forever Be" was The Chemical Brothers' fourth top 10 single in the UK, peaking at number nine in the UK Singles Chart.
