Love didn't have much to work with
When it got a hold of me
Still recovering from my last time out
Doing my best to learn to live without it
Just when I thought all my feelings had died
Something came over me that can't be denied

don't under estimate the power of love
You're never down so low that it can't lift you up
Don't under estimate what it can do
I'm living proof of the power of love

It didn't hit me like lightening
From a dark and stormy sky
It came on more like a peaceful wind
It made me feel like trying again
I didn't realize how good it could be
Until love worked its magic on me

don't under estimate the power of love
You're never down so low that it can't lift you up
Don't under estimate what it can do
I'm living proof of the power of love

don't under estimate the power of love
You're never down so low that it can't lift you up
Don't under estimate what it can do
I'm living proof of the power of love
