"Runaway Boys" is the first single by American rockabilly band Stray Cats, released November 21, 1980 by Arista Records in the UK, where it peaked at No. 9 on the Singles Chart.. It was later included on the band's 1981 debut album, Stray Cats. Its first US release, by EMI America, was on the June 1982 album Built for Speed.

Stray Cats

The Stray Cats are an American rockabilly band formed in 1980 by guitarist/vocalist Brian Setzer (Bloodless Pharaohs/Brian Setzer Orchestra), upright bassist Lee Rocker and Slim Jim Phantom (drums) in the Long Island town of Massapequa, New York.
