Life's great these days
No work, all play
I got nothin' to complain about, no
Not a lot that I can sing about
I woke up just fine
Slept in 'til nine
It's not exactly deep and meaningful, no
When you're writin' new material, so

I could sing about heartache, but it ain't broke
sing about addiction, but I don't smoke
I could feel the kinda song comin' on, everyone can sing along
Here comes another one

Another song about love
A song about love
(And it keeps gettin' better)
(You can sing it forever)
Love
A song about love
(And it keeps gettin' better)
(You can sing it forever)

I need some stories to tell
Stories that make me seem awesome as hell
I need a break-up, but we always wake up and make up
And that don't make a song that sells

I could sing about the ocean, but I don't swim
sing about the trouble that I never been in
It's like a song you heard before, keeps you comin' back for more
This is not unique, and definitely not original

Another song about love
A song about love
(And it keeps gettin' better)
(You can sing it forever)
Love
A song about love
(And it keeps gettin' better)
(You can sing it forever)

Give me some pain
Enough to put words in my brain
To make this more than a love song
There's no denyin'
Music's for cryin'
It's satisfyin'
That's why I'm writin'
Another song about

Another song about love (ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh)
Another song about love (ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh)
Yeah
(And it keeps gettin' better)
(You can sing it forever)
Another song about love (ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh)
A song about love (ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh)
Yeah
(And it keeps gettin' better, yeah)
We can sing it together

La-la-la, la-la-la-la (ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh)
(And it keeps gettin' better)
(You can sing it forever, hey)
La-la-la, la-la-la-la (ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh)
(And it keeps gettin' better)
(You can sing it forever)
