Joshua Paul "Josh" Davis (born June 29, 1972), better known by his stage name DJ Shadow, is an American music producer and DJ. He is considered a prominent figure in the development of instrumental hip hop and first gained notice with the release of his highly acclaimed debut album Endtroducing....., which was the first album to be recorded using only sampled sounds. I validate myself through followers just to feel important

Advertise that revenue, everything that you consume
All for them, less for you, they do all the sorting
Try to figure out ways to make you feel important
While they keep robbing you blind, hold extortion

In some sense that's the power of the Internet
On the other hand, that's a perfect formula for the dark side
This is our generation's form of nuclear power
