This my destiny, this my birthright, patience
It take patience, you can't turn time, bless me
All the bless in me, from the your eye testin' me
Got the test to me, we gon' make it our destiny
This my destiny, this my birthright, patience
It take patience, can't turn time bless me
All the bless in me, from the your eye testin' me
Got the test to me, we gon' make it out

I'm runnin' the race
That's probably why they feel like I'm runnin' away
(You gotta right those wrongs)
I'm stuck in the game
One foot on they neck, one foot in the grave
(And still life goes on)
I'm travelin' big, I fit for a tour, I be back in May
(You gotta play your part)
Grateful to this day, blessed to be in this game
Plus the money is great
(So I write these songs)

Yo, they ask what it takes
Pay attention or pay for people mistakes
And I never went to college, I gotta keep with the pace
Even though this life's expensive, you gotta savor the taste
And that hate shit, is never time or the place
Closed mouths don't get fed, you gotta speak with some bass
And a little food for thought, you gotta finish your plate
When it's too much weight, you gotta take a lil' break
When you know you got sauce, you gotta raise up your rate, yeah
And that's not a debate, nah
And it's never too late now, stop second guessing
And put yourself in my place, uh

Lord knows I got time to kill, when they see these steps
I went LV on the loafers, because I was penniless
Grand Wizard with the sanctions, move up like I'm your tenant
And it's such a awkward time
It's hard to get shine without the gimmicks
Confusion of the culture, on the holster
One shot can hold me over, now I'm right back to Magnolia
California the Opus, New York is where the home is
Not me, right out of college, and music has been my calling
I heard there's been a shortage, too many offices phonies
Money can't hurt your pride, inside your heart is enormous
With the spirit of Marvin, I summon somethin' evolvin'
Rise up and make a change, if you hesitate, you a target

Yeah, I'm runnin' away
So why it always feel like I'm runnin' in place?
(You gotta right those wrongs)
I'm stuck in my ways, goin' through it as of late
It's been one of them days
(And still life goes on)
I'll cut to the chase, I know that I'm blessed
I shouldn't complain
(You gotta play your part)
Work 'til I'm paid, then find an escape
To fly me away
(So I write these songs)

'Til the sky fall, go hard up in the paint on nail
And train your skill, replace the word "can't" with "will"
My pain was healed, I focus on the things that's real
Ain't no sittin', waitin', hopin', grip that thing and steal
But that's all a nigga knowin', 'cause we gang for real
When I hit that antidote, bet made that train derail
Had the devil on my shoulder, but my ears were sealed
See a legend in the mirror, guess my faith reveal
They full of hatred, niggas be up just prayin' you fail
I forgave 'em, they ain't learnin' they lesson, oh well
You in danger, mystical tryna shorten my meals
No remainder, mystery how you just disappear

Independent money, might cop me a 'Rari
Got shooters on my bodygaurd, 'cause I don't trust nobody
To think this all started from thoughts inside my noggin
But creativity easy when you're starvin'
Independent money, might cop me a 'Rari
Got shooters on my bodygaurd, 'cause I don't trust nobody
To think this all started from thoughts inside my noggin
But creativity easy when you're starvin'

Yeah, I'm runnin' away
So why it always feel like I'm runnin' in place?
(You gotta right those wrongs)
I'm stuck in the game
One foot on they neck, one foot in the grave
(And still life goes on)
I'll cut to the chase, I know that I'm blessed
I shouldn't complain
(You gotta play your part)
Grateful to this day, blessed to be in this game
Plus the money is great
(So I write these songs)
