Written and produced by Brian Alexander Morgan, the song was released in late 1992 as the second single from It's About Time. It was commercially successful, becoming their first top-ten single in the United States, peaking at number six on the Billboard Hot 100. Sisters with Voices, better known as SWV, is an American female R&B trio from New York City. Formed in 1990 as a gospel group, SWV became one of the most successful R&B groups of the 1990s.
