"Fight Song" is a song recorded by American singer and songwriter Rachel Platten, released as a single by Columbia Records on February 19, 2015. It appears on her extended play (EP) of the same name (2015) and on her major label debut studio album, and third overall, Wildfire (2016). Platten co-wrote the song with Dave Bassett. The song peaked at number six on the Billboard Hot 100 and also reached number one of the Adult Contemporary and Adult Pop Songs airplay charts. Outside the United States, "Fight Song" topped the charts in the United Kingdom and Poland and also peaked within the top ten of the singles charts in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Ireland and the top twenty of the charts in Slovakia. Rachel Platten

Rachel Ashley Platten (born May 20, 1981) is an American singer and songwriter. After releasing two albums independently in 2003 and 2011, she signed with Columbia Records in 2015 and released her debut single, "Fight Song", about depression which peaked at number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, topped charts in the United Kingdom and peaked within the top ten of multiple charts worldwide. Platten won a Daytime Emmy Award for a live performance of the song on Good Morning America. Her major-label debut studio album, Wildfire (2016), was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and featured the follow-up singles "Stand by You" and "Better Place".
