It was released in Poland as the third single from the album on 22 January 2014 and was scheduled to have its main release on 21 February. The song features guest vocals from Dave Pirner of Soul Asylum, with Polish rock singer Piotr Rogucki of the band Coma providing vocals on the Polish version of Hydra. The song premiered on Polish national radio on 10 January 2014, and received its first airplay in the Netherlands and Belgium on 15 January 2014. In the United Kingdom, the song had its first airplay on BBC Radio 2 on June 6 during The Ken Bruce Show. more »

Within Temptation

Within Temptation are a Dutch symphonic metal band founded in 1996 by vocalist Sharon den Adel and guitarist Robert Westerholt. Their music is described as symphonic metal, although their earlier material, such as Enter, was gothic metal. In an interview, den Adel said they fell into a symphonic rock genre with various influences. In a later interview with 3VOOR12, Sharon stated that "we consider ourselves more a symphonic rock band ... we are in my opinion no gothic band". more »
